To empower caregivers with knowledge and skills to manage the emotional and physical demands of caregiving, recognise signs of stress and burnout, and implement effective self-care strategies.

Learning Outcomes
Understand the importance of psychological well-being of caregivers and their need for respite from the emotional and physical stress.Â
Recognise the signs and symptoms of caregiver stress and burnout.Â
Set priorities and boundaries and recognise the need to seek appropriate support when required.Â
Maintain connections with family and friends.Â
Be self aware to know one’s own limitations, self-care needs, and seek assistance when necessary to manage self and the care recipient.Â
Plan to be equipped with caregiving knowledge, skills, tips and tools to better support the care recipient.Â
*Course fees are subject to Caregivers Training Grant (CTG) eligibility and the remaining amount of the care recipient’s CTG which is capped at $400 per year.
