Course Synopsis

This hands-on course is designed to empower Foreign Domestic Workers (FDWs) in Singapore or anyone in Singapore with essential digital literacy skills for daily life. Participants will learn how to use a computer confidently, create simple documents, manage household budgets in Excel, prepare basic presentations, use the internet safely, and communicate through email — all in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.

 

The course includes a final project presentation, where learners apply their new skills to create a résumé, a budget, and a presentation they can use in real-life situations.

 

Who Should Attend

• FDWs who want to improve their computer and digital skills

• Beginners with little or no prior experience in using laptops

• Employers looking to upskill their domestic helpers in a practical and safe way

 

Course Format

 

Duration: 30 hours (8 Sundays × 4 hours) Plus Module 1 : TESDA Microsoft Digital Literacy e-module (6 hrs self-paced)

Mode: In-person, laptops provided

 

Class Size: 6 to 10 persons (Small group for personal attention)

 

Certificate: TESDA – E Cert and Completion Certificate from Legend Training Centre
